OUR LAW FIRM

RUPPERT U.S. IP GmbH was founded in 2020 by Dr. Siegfried J.W. Ruppert in Heidelberg, Germany.  Prior to founding RUPPERT U.S. IP GmbH, Dr. Ruppert was a partner at the U.S.-based law firm Taylor English Duma LLP.  Prior to that, he gained experience as an associate attorney at Townsend and Townsend and Crew LLP (now Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton LLP), a U.S. national intellectual property law firm, and at Duane Morris LLP, also a U.S.-based law firm.

RUPPERT U.S. IP GmbH aims to provide its clients with competent and value-oriented advice on U.S. law.

We have learned from experience that it is sometimes difficult, in particular for German-based clients, to find competent and cost-effective U.S. legal counsel in Germany.

RUPPERT U.S. IP GmbH fills this niche and is almost unique in Germany with respect to advice on U.S. patent law. Although we mainly deal with U.S. patent law in our Heidelberg office, we can rely on a network of connections to experienced U.S. attorneys and U.S. law firms, which allows us to advise on all issues related to U.S. laws.  See us not only as your partner who can assist you in all matters concerning U.S. patent law, but also as a liaison who can provide you with access to competent U.S. attorneys and advise you on other U.S. legal issues.  You will find your contact in Germany here at RUPPERT U.S. IP GmbH.
